No you don't. If you did you wouldn't have to hand me a long list of vendors and purposes and so called "legitimate interests" (what does that even mean, anyway?) that I have to manually disable. In fact you wouldn't have any of those in the first place. Maybe you'd have a banner saying "we use cookies to keep you logged in" or "we use cookies to save items in your shopping basket" or whatever. No, the adage "we use cookies to improve your experience" is bullshit unless you can tell me how exactly you do in fact improve my experience.
Most of the time any cookies you keep actually make my experience worse. And you know that.
