There’s a couple of practicalities to conclude at my current/former workplace before I am officially out. Meanwhile I met with my manager from a previous workplace yesterday to probe a bit. I have a meeting with a recruiter on Monday and with a cloud specialist startup on Tuesday. I’ll contact a couple of consulting firms today or Monday too.
Those are my best local options, and they’re pretty good indeed. If I can’t find what I want locally I’ll start looking nationally. Lots of remote work these days.
That said I’d really really like to go back to that previous job, if they make me a good offer for salary. Even the best they can do will be a step down from what I have now, because it’s a public employer, but I’m willing to go a little bit down for them. Good place to work.
All in all it’s looking pretty good for the future.
