I don't want to write about the war. There's nothing I can add to that discussion. Yet the war is front and center in my mind, and finding something else to write about or even distract me is hard. From discussions and observations the last couple of weeks I've come to the assumption that I'm not alone in this.
I notice it in my feed reader, where hardly any posts from personal blogs have been seen in a while. I notice it in the Antenna stats; as I'm writing this there are 78 posts from 40 different feeds there, compared to regularly 110+ posts from 60+ feeds before the war.
This is in no way strange. Ukrainians are in a fight for their very survival, and we all suddenly recognize the Russian state for the greedy imperialist maniac it is. It affects everyone. The future is uncertain. The worry is omnipresent.
I hope the war could be over swiftly, with as positive an outcome as possible.
