Not Looking Forward to My Wonderful Job

A week from now my holiday is over and I'll be back at work. I really like my job, and my colleagues are the best, yet when I think about returning I feel a profound sense of... nothing...

Since Christmas I've spent a huge part of my time drinking tea, reading, and often eating sweets. When I've not done that I've either been out running or been with my family. At no point have I ever thought that I miss work. In fact, pretty much all of that time I've thought that this is how life should be; leisure and time to work on myself and my relationships.

I don't want to get into a long tangent about politics and economics here. I just want to take a moment to document and share the fact that not working is pretty sweet. If I didn't have to work for a living I probably wouldn't. Or at least I'd do it even less.
