Oct 30 (the number 30 in the octal number base) is the same as Dec 24 (the number 24 in the decimal number base), and here in Sweden we celebrate Christmas Eve rather than Christmas Day. Basically, when you think about it, it's Christmas today. Almost. Let's call it Little Christmas.
For those of you who celebrate on Dec 25: you'll have the Little Christmas tomorrow. Coinciding with Halloween for Americans (possibly others too, I guess, I don't know what everyone celebrates or when).
I had totally forgotten about Little Christmas this year, but I feel I should make this a tradition. Will have to buy some small presents today.
